Great Vegan Books

Vegan Cooking for Carnivores by Roberto Martin.  YUM.  Perfect for those with carnivore hubbies or wives who need a little coaxing to go vegan.

Vegan with a Vengeance by Isa Chandra Moskowitz.  YUM.  Perfect for most any kind of vegan cook, from beginner to more daring.  Lots of yummy sweets recipes, too!

Eating Animals  by Jonathan Safran Foer.  This book is life changing.  Seriously.  I read this last summer as a vegetarian and it made me want to go vegan.

The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone.  My hubby saw this book in our living room and said, “The girl from Clueless writes cookbooks?!?”  It’s a great read and has lots of interesting recipes.

Food Matters by Mark Bittman.  Lots of info on why what you eat and where it comes from is SO important.  He has videos on YouTube as well that are really informative.

All the Moosewood cookbooks are great.  Not vegan, but all vegetarian and easily can be modified.

Skinny Bitch Ultimate Everyday Cookbook by Kim Barnouin.  She rocks, and so does this cookbook.  Lots of great “veganized” recipes like mock egg salad or lasagna.
